Hungry all the time these days...

Muna-riisipasteija is like a pie filled with egg and rice. Janita's mom can cook this. *drools* Oh dear, she had to show me this at a time when I am so hungry. Lol. I want one so baaaaaad! XD

(no subject)

Lucky day I had yesterday and there were loads of things that happened to me that I am really thankful for. First of all, at the embassy, a very nice and professional visa officer attended to me this time. Not at all like the first one! The process will take 3 weeks, as I was told (not sure if that includes the holidays though). And then I will know if I have been approved a Schengen visa. *crosses fingers*

I got my check yesterday for 9,450 (totally unexpected!) and deposited it right away in the bank.

Nice cabbies who gave me a ride too. Made sure I got to where I needed to go and two of whom asked me if I was already married. XD On my way to granny's, we met a very minor accident on the road too - we got hit in the bumper (by another cab). But neither cabbies argued about it and we were back on our way soon after. I gave them all a good tip. Was feeling very generous and I think these guys deserved it for working really hard and for being very pleasant. It meant a lot to me. And I am glad I made them happy too. :)

It was also nice to see granny. She was sad, as usual, but I am glad I made her feel loved and was able to cheer her up a bit. I got her her favorite dessert - caramel creme flan and bought her comfortable shirts she can wear at home. We talked a bit and she told me that I am the only one she depends on now. I gave her a bit of cash too which she reluctantly took. Yesterday was one of those days that made me wish I was filthy rich so I can take granny and give her a better home.

I left my aunt's house around 4pm and got to the terminal early enough to avoid the rush hour - thank God! ♥
